Follow-ups

Follow-ups

For work that repeats on a cycle rather than a calendar, the hard part is remembering who is due. BatchDrop tracks it per customer.

A cadence per customer

Set how often someone should hear from you — every three, six, or twelve months, or any number of days — plus when you last served them. The next reminder schedules itself.

Overdue, today, and the next two weeks

The follow-ups page groups everything open into three buckets using your store’s local date, and the nav badge counts what needs attention now.

Marking someone serviced reschedules them

One button records the visit, closes the current reminder, and books the next one at the right interval. You never schedule the same thing twice.

Snooze or add a one-off

Push a reminder out by a week or a month, move it to a specific date, or add a dated note that has nothing to do with the cycle.

Some follow-ups make themselves

An invoice with a due date adds a follow-up for that day, and paying the invoice closes it. A quote request from your service site adds one due the day it arrives.

A morning email when something is due

From 7am in your own timezone, on days when something is overdue or due, you get one email. On quiet days you get nothing.

Questions

Is this only for service businesses?

It is most useful there, but any store can use it — a reminder to check in with a customer who has not ordered in a while works the same way.

Do I get an email every day?

Only when something is overdue or due that day. Stores with nothing due are not emailed.

Can I text someone straight from a follow-up?

Yes. Each follow-up has a Text link that opens your conversation with that customer.

Know who’s due before they call you.
