Storefront
Your storefront
A page that is yours, where customers browse open drops and place their order. Every plan gets the page; Pro and Business let you pick its address.
Included on Basic
A public page on every plan
- Every plan includes a live storefront page where customers browse open drops and order. There is no separate website to build.
Your logo and tagline
- Add your logo and a line about what you make. They sit at the top of your page, so customers know they are in the right place.
A custom address on Pro and up
- Basic gets a BatchDrop-assigned address. Pro and Business let you pick your own short, readable slug — something you can put on a jar label or a market sign.
Sign-in by phone number
- Customers enter their number and get a code. No password to forget, and it ties their order to the same number that gets your texts.
My Orders, for your customers
- Once signed in, customers see every order they have placed with you and the receipt for each paid one. They can cancel an order themselves while it is still unpaid.
Payment, your way
- Customers pay you directly — Venmo, Zelle, cash, or whatever you already use. Mark an order paid and the customer gets a receipt automatically. Online card payments through Stripe are in development.
Live availability
- The drop page shows what is still available and updates as orders are paid. When the last one goes, the page reflects it.
Questions
Does BatchDrop take a commission?
Not on payments you collect yourself — you pay your BatchDrop subscription, and nothing is taken from the sale. Online card payments, when they launch, will carry a small per-transaction fee that we will publish before you can turn them on.
Is the storefront available on every plan?
Yes. The public page ships on Basic, Pro, and Business. Picking your own store URL and bringing your own Twilio number are Pro and Business features.
Can I use my own domain?
No. Your page lives at a BatchDrop address. On Pro and up you choose the short name in it.
What if I sell a service, not batches?
Set your store to service and the page becomes a simple service site with a quote request form instead of a list of drops.
