Agreement

These terms cover two things: this marketing website, and the BatchDrop application, where accounts are created and stores are run. Using either one means you accept these terms. This website does not itself process any payment or create any account — it is informational, and everything account- and payment-related happens in the application.

Accounts

Creating an account in the application may require an invite code while we are in limited release. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done under your account, whether or not you did it yourself.

What you may sell

You are solely responsible for complying with the food, labelling, licensing, and tax rules that apply where you operate, including any cottage food or home-kitchen laws in your state. Those rules differ widely from state to state, and BatchDrop does not review, verify, or guarantee that your products are legal to sell where you sell them. We may remove a listing or suspend an account we believe violates applicable law.

Your SMS obligations

You may only text people who opted in to hear from your store, and you must honour a STOP request. You may not use BatchDrop to send unsolicited messages to numbers that never opted in. See our SMS Terms for the full detail on consent, keywords, and message frequency.

Payments

Today, customers pay you directly for orders placed through the application — by Venmo, Zelle, cash, or any other method you arrange. BatchDrop does not process, hold, or transmit those payments. You are responsible for collecting them, for recording an order as paid, and for any refund you owe a customer. If we introduce online card payments, they will be processed by Stripe under additional terms, including any per-transaction fee, that you accept before switching them on.

Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. A card is required to start the trial, and if you do not cancel first, that card is billed automatically when the trial ends — monthly, through Stripe, in USD, for the plan you selected. See our pricing page for current rates. You may cancel at any time, consistent with the Termination section below.

Your content

You keep ownership of your products, descriptions, images, and customer data. You grant us only the licence needed to host, store, and display it as part of running the service.

Acceptable use

• No listing or selling of illegal goods.
• No unsolicited messaging, by SMS or otherwise.
• No attempt to breach, disrupt, or overload the service.
• No scraping or automated collection of data from the site or application.

Availability

The service is provided as-is and as-available, with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BatchDrop's liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

Either side may end this arrangement at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new last-updated date.
