Offers

Offers

Sometimes you just have something to say: a few extra loaves, an opening on Thursday, a price for the season. An offer is one text, written by you, to everyone on your list who said yes.

Included on Basic

Up to 300 characters, in your words

Write the message yourself. It goes out as your store name, then your text, then “Reply STOP to opt out.” Before you send, the form tells you how many people it will reach.

The opt-out line is always there

However long your message is, the opt-out line is never cut off. Everyone who gets an offer knows how to stop getting them.

Only to people who opted in

An offer goes to every customer who has opted in to your texts, and to no one else. Customers you imported or added by hand are left out until they say yes.

Checked against your allowance first

Each offer counts toward your monthly message allowance, and a long one can count as more than one message per person. If the send would need more than you have left, it is refused before a single text goes out, so your list never gets half an offer.

Different from a drop broadcast

A drop broadcast is written for you and announces a drop, with a link to order. An offer has no drop behind it — just your words, sent the moment you press send. Every offer you have sent is listed with when it went out and how many people it reached.

Questions

Can I send an offer to just some customers?

No. An offer goes to everyone who has opted in. To reach one person, text them one-to-one from your inbox or from a follow-up.

Can I schedule an offer for later?

No. An offer goes out when you send it, and so does a drop announcement. There is no send-later for either.

Which plans include offers?

Every plan. Offers draw on the same monthly allowance as your drop broadcasts: 300, 1,000, or 3,000 messages a month on Basic, Pro, and Business.

What if I do not have enough messages left?

The offer is not sent and nothing is charged. Your allowance resets at the start of your next billing period, or you can upgrade for more. There are no top-ups.
